But the resident pilot whales and dolphins live off the coast a little further north-west, which means a longer transit from here — and many operators selling in Los Cristianos put you on a transfer to Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje anyway.
Going directly to Puerto Colón yourself takes about ten minutes and puts you on a boat that reaches the animals in twenty rather than thirty-five.
